Take the best first step into your Hairdressing career with the Level 2 Hairdressing professional apprenticeship. You will learn and develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be a successful hairdresser through a mixture of academy attendance and in-salon development. An apprenticeship is a full-time job with training planned in. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week and this will include a full 6-hour training day where you will develop your skills on paying client in the training salon. This apprenticeship takes an average of 24 months to complete after which you have the option to progress onto the Level 3 Advanced and Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship.

The Level 3 Advanced and Creative – Hair Professional is an apprenticeship programme designed for hairdressers who want to push their skills and knowledge to the next level. The apprenticeship focusses heavily on creative work, session styling and portfolio building. It will support individuals who have completed their level 2 already to develop a broader set of creative hairdressing skills to advance career opportunities and pathways outside of everyday salon work. You will attend the academy every 2-weeks for knowledge and skills sessions where you will train to become highly skilled and experienced individual professionals who deliver hair fashion forward trends, which are innovative styles inspired by current images and their own creativity, individual flair, imagination and interpretation. The apprenticeships is 12 - 18 months and all learners are required to spend 6 hours per week of their working hours on training towards their apprenticeship.

You will learn and develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be a successful barber through a mixture of academy attendance and in-salon development. An apprenticeship is a full-time job with training planned in. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week and this will include a full 6-hour training day where you will develop your skills on clients in the training salon. This apprenticeship takes between 15-18 months to complete.
