Congratulations to the second cohort of Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate learners from Mencap – Waverly Hall, who have all successfully achieved their qualification this week. This is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to the learners’ commitment, enthusiasm, and hard work throughout their programme.
Each learner was proudly presented with their certificate, marking an important milestone in their professional journey and the positive impact they will continue to make within adult social care.
The learners shared some wonderful reflections on their experience:
“For me, this was my first time working in a care setting. I learned something new in each session and enjoyed the whole learning process, especially understanding the importance of person-centred care.” – David
“I have learned a lot about communication, safeguarding, and health and safety, and I’ve been able to put this new knowledge into practice when supporting the people I care for.” – Margaret
“I have had a fantastic time on the course. The tutors were down to earth and always ready to listen and help, even outside of sessions. I particularly enjoyed learning about dementia and was able to link this directly to my working practice.” – Alex
Well done to everyone involved in supporting and achieving this success.
