Through practical tools, reflective leadership development and real‑world project delivery, participants strengthen capability, enhance collaboration, and create measurable service improvements. It’s a focused, accredited route for leaders who want to grow, support others and positively impact outcomes within their departments and across the organisation
 
 

Two qualifications
One thriving leader

This programme combines the nationally recognised Associate Project Manager apprenticeship standard with the ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management, creating professionals who understand their self, teams and broader organisation, identify areas for development and lead projects to implement change.

Level 4 Associate Project Manager Standard

Level 4 apprenticeship covering project lifecycle delivery, stakeholder engagement, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, and governance.

ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management

Duration

This programme typically takes 18-months to complete. This includes 15 in-person group delivery sessions. The typical EPA period for this programme is 3-monhts.

This course is funded through the apprenticeship levy and has a maximum funding amount of £7000

Assessment Information

The on-programme and qualification element of the programme will be assessed through a combination of written assignments, workplace evidence and projects. The apprenticeship is assessed through an independent end-point assessment, which includes:

High-Level Learning Aims

  • Identify and explain the characteristics of effective leaders, managers
    and teams
  • Evaluate own leadership and management capabilities to support
